SCUBA DIVING

Scuba Diving in Hawaii was one of the most cherished underwater experience of our life at the time (The mantle being overtaken by Belize later).  Not only was it exhilirating to see aquatic life (from ethereal to squeamish) this closely, it was also an incredible thrill to swim freely under the pacific ocean without being restricted only to water surface like in Snorkeling (Add link here).
I felt like a resident fish at times and like an extraterrestrial alien on other :)  The weight of the oxygen tank did not feel much under the water. Apparently, I was consuming more oxygen than normal, which was a bit alarming to my instructor. On the other hand, I was having ball of a time.
Scuba diving requires learning of correct techniques and is not to be taken lightly though. While this location was safe for beginners like us, there are Scuba diving locations around the world like in Belize (Add link to page here) where even the most experienced divers are restricted (Number of previous dives or/and mandatory escort etc).
Here is what happened on our Scuba Dive trip:)

Quick fact: Corals are biodiverse ecosystem like a rainforest.
Corals are nothing but large collection or colony of individual polyps
Why should we care? Because just like mangroves, they protect coastal human life and property from storms and Tsunamis.
