Extreme sports are all about the adrenaline rush, WOW factor and the high. For us it is just for fun and not for professional interest. While we haven't done any "Insane" extreme sports, we have done many "Intense" activities. The location of each activity mattered to us as much as the act itself. The surroundings chosen impart special charm to the crazy sport undertaken.
Adrenaline Pump 5 on 5
1. Ice Climbing on a glacier near Anchorage, Alaska
When you look at a glacier from a distance, at first, it just seems like a large blob of ice. Only when you step on it, do you realize its enormity and fragility at the same time. Enormous because you realize its vastness as you keep on walking. The only time I got scared. It was getting dark and my toes were literally wearing off from my feet. The shoes had taken its toll.
2. Climbing Half Dome in Yosemite National Park in California
If you have not attempted this, your credentials as a true Californian are in question:)
